New Breed of Youth, Inc. ("New B.O.Y.") values the trust our donors place in us. We are committed to protecting donor privacy and handling donor information with the utmost care and respect. New Breed of Youth will NOT:

  • Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our organization, donors, or others
  • Matching Gifts: With employers for the purpose of verifying donations for matching gift programs (at donor's request)

We take the security of donor information seriously and employ safeguards including:

  • Secure, encrypted online donation forms (SSL/TLS encryption)
  • PCI-compliant payment processing
  • Limited access to donor information on a need-to-know basis
  • Regular security training for staff
  • Physical security measures for paper records

6. Record Retention

9. AFP Donor Bill of Rights

New Breed of Youth endorses and follows the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Donor Bill of Rights, which states that donors have the right to:

  • Be informed of the organization's mission and how it intends to use donated resources
  • Know the identity of those serving on the organization's governing board
  • Have access to the organization's most recent financial statements
  • Be assured their gifts will be used for the purposes for which they were given
  • Receive appropriate acknowledgment and recognition
  • Be assured that information about their donation is handled with respect and confidentiality
  • Expect that all relationships with individuals representing organizations of interest to the donor will be professional
  • Be informed whether those seeking donations are volunteers, employees, or hired solicitors
  • Have the opportunity to have their names removed from mailing lists
  • Feel free to ask questions and receive prompt, truthful, and forthright answers
